WebTv
Basic Information
.
You
MUST NOT link directly to our graphics - if you do you
create
excessive use of our band-width. (Graphics are changed frequently to avoid
this problem and you will be left with broken images.) WebTv Users
can only download graphics using a transloader service. Transloading
is the same principle as a pc user downloading an image to their computer
and storing it on their hard drive. On WebTv you are moving an image from
our web site to your own WebTV memory which is stored in your WebTv Scrapbook.
To be able to upload images to your scrapbook, you must first have to activate
it. To activate your scrapbook you must first accept the license agreement
and create a web page. The page does not have to have any value - you can
just create a "Dummy Page."

Graphic
Verifyer
.
Before
a graphic can be transloaded, it must be verified to find
out
what kind of extension it has - gif, jpg or jpeg. To do this, you save
the verifier sites to favorite keys (F1-F11)
Go
To:
Owens
4 Tools
First
you must be at the page where there are graphics you wish to upload. Then
click your favorite key (F1-F11) where Owens 4 Tools site is assigned.
Then go to the area that says "View Images of this Url" and hit the box
that says "View Images". You will then see a listing of every graphic and
its extension and next to it will be the height and width. Write down the
height and width - you will need it later when you add your html codes.
When you view the graphic you want, make sure that you leave it on the
screen and hit the favorite key where you have assigned the Transloader
site or sites.
