The
Bachelor Party is a time honored tradition. The idea of a bachelor party
is to have one last huge night out with the guys. Typically the party
is hosted and paid for by the Best Man. However, depending
on the party theme and location, guests may be asked to chip in or each
pay their own way for a destination party. The only person who should
not pay is the Groom. Party guests should include all the ushers/groomsmen,
any brothers of the grooms and the bride, friends and co-workers of the
Groom, and probably NOT the fathers of the bride or groom.

Don't kid Yourself or The Groom - The Bride WILL
find out what happened at the party!
2.
Holding the Bachelor Party the night before the wedding is a really BAD
IDEA! On one of the most important days of the Grooms
life, he needs to be sober! It's best to hold the Bachelor
Party at least a week or two before the wedding.
3.
Keep the Bachelor's interests in mind when planning the party - and try
for something that will be unique but does not involve live farm animals.
4.
To get the best turnout, send out invitations at least a month in advance.
5.
If the party is held anywhere but a home, visit the location(s) - restaurant,
bar, strip club, etc. Forewarn the management at each location that you're
holding a Bachelor Party.
6.
Make sure you have an absolute commitment [a contact, the terms and
costs in writing] for any party or travel packages, limos, entertainment,
etc.
7.
NO
cameras or cell phones allowed!
8.
Less travel time means More Party Time!
9.
Bail out anyone that ends up in jail - especially the Bachelor.
10.
Make sure everyone makes it home safe and that NO ONE is driving drunk.
The person hosting the party may have to be the Designated
